Padang TG35 Bianco Tarn
Padang TG35 Bianco Tarn is the German distributor's grade of the classic French Tarn Gris granite from the Tarn département near Toulouse in southern France — a Carboniferous medium-grained granite with a light grey groundmass, clearly delimited black biotite dots and fine white plagioclase areas. IMPORTANT: despite the trade designation 'Padang' this is NOT a Chinese granite — it is a French stone from southern France. Internationally also traded as Tarn Gris, Bianco Tarn and Clair du Tarn; used for exterior façades, paving, floor areas, stairs, window sills and building applications with a classic European pale character.
IMPORTANT: despite the trade designation “Padang”, Padang TG35 Bianco Tarn is NOT a Chinese Padang granite but a French granite from the Tarn department in southern France. The TG35 code is a German distributor-specific designation that has historically been carried within the “Padang” range family. The correct petrographic identity is BIANCO TARN or TARN GRIS (DNSA stone 3342). When ordering, we recommend using the correct name Tarn Gris or Bianco Tarn in order to rule out any confusion with Chinese Padang selections.
